This year we made a huge milestone achievement and had our very first scientific article published in an academic journal. It not only contributed something significant to ecological research, but allowed us to highlight some important conservation issues for a global audience. Two and a half years after the discovery of the third population of Cyprus Killifish by our Freshwater Life Project team, this year we were proud to submit the article “A new record of Aphanius fasciatus (Valenciennes, 1821) on Cyprus; insights for conservation” to the journal “Cahiers de Biologie Marine” and would like to thank them for their support.
