Apply for a grant

Periodically, we offer small grants of up to £500 to assist projects that can demonstrate measurable outcomes in the areas of freshwater habitat preservation, conservation, restoration, and creation, as well as research, including but not limited to taxonomy, phylogeny, threat assessment, in-situ and ex-situ captive breeding programs, and other works. Successful projects will be able to demonstrate a tangible impact, that will benefit a threatened species or habitat.

We particularly favour projects that:

– are locally run and/or benefit local people

– will result in significant and measurable outcomes

– prioritise threatened habitats or species

– aim to prevent or reverse extinctions of species in freshwater ecosystems

CURRENTLY ONLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR PROJECTS BASED IN THE SAME COUNTRY AS THE TARGET SPECIES/HABITAT
